Making an appointment

How to make or change an appointment

If you like to make an appointment you need a referral letter from your doctor or general practitioner.

You can only make an appointment by calling us. You can call 020-8203465 from Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 4.30pm and on Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 8pm.

Please bear in mind that your doctor can only discuss one complaint per consultation? If you have more complaints, we request that you make separate appointments for the other complaints.

  • We ask you to be present approximately 10 minutes before the start of your appointment.
  • If we do not yet have the referral letter, could you please take it with you?
  • We also ask you to bring your identity card (ID card, passport or driving licence).
  • If possible, could you like to bring an overview of the medication you use? You can request this overview at your pharmacy.

Wetering Medical Center is housed in several buildings that are close to each other. All buildings have a front desk with an employee who will gladly tell you where you are expected. It is therefore possible that you are referred to another desk. Your doctor may also be in a different building than you are used to. We advise to arrive a few minutes earlier than your appointment starting time. That will give you plenty of time to walk to the correct building.

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance. If you have not canceled the appointment 24 hours in advance, we may charge a stay-away rate (an amount of 50 euros). Let us know in time if you cannot come to your appointment. We can then use the time reserved for you for others.

The aim of Medisch Centrum Wetering is to treat immediately during the first consultation. However, some treatments cannot be done immediately, for example because the correct diagnosis must first be made or because the treatment cannot be done in the consulting room. Then a new appointment will be made for you.

Please take the deductible into account: this is the statutory annual contribution of EUR 385.00 (or higher if you have agreed this with your health insurer). This excess applies to all hospitals and clinics in the Netherlands.
