First visit at the plastic surgeon

The first visit

On your first visit, please bring an identity document and your insurance card. We are obliged to check these. We really appreciate it if you also bring a list of medicines you are taking and a record of any operations you have had.

If you have never undergone cosmetic treatment before, our advice is to make an appointment for an intake at the consultation hour for cosmetic and aesthetic treatments. You will immediately receive honest advice on the possibilities of cosmetic treatment.

Changing or cancelling an appointment

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment with your plastic surgeon up to 24 hours in advance. If you have not cancelled the appointment 24 hours in advance, we may charge you a stay-away fee (an amount of 50 euros). Please let us know in time if you cannot come to your appointment. We can then use your reserved time for others.

The plastic surgery department at Wetering Medical Centre works in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery. More information on common plastic surgery conditions, treatments and possible side effects can be found on the site of the NVPC.
